Reading Program for Adults
"Get Between the Covers and Read"
January 15 - March 15

"Get Between the Covers and Read" is the theme for the Pigeon District Library's adult winter reading program which is scheduled for January 15 - March 15.  The program is open to Pigeon District Library cardholders, ages eighteen and above, who check out books, audio books, books on CD, or magazines.
No sign-up is required and participation in the program is entirely optional.

An entry slip will be given to each adult patron who checks out books, audio books, books on CD, or magazines between January 15 and March 15.  If the patron wishes to participate in the program, he/she simply fills out the entry slip and puts it in the reading program box when the library materials are returned.

Drawings for prizes will be held from the entry slips that have been returned the previous week.  At the end of the program, a party will be held for the reading program participants and all of the entry slips from the eight weekly drawings will be combined for more prize drawings.

The library staff thinks the program will help adult patrons pass the time on those cold, winter days and will be a LOT of fun for their adult readers.  Prizes include books, candy, free food cards, gift baskets, gift certificates, and much more.

The Pigeon District Library provides library service to residents and property owners in Caseville, Chandler, Fairhaven, McKinley, Oliver, and Winsor Townships.  Anyone with questions about library membership or the program can contact the library at 989-453-2341 to speak with a staff member.
